School Assignment
Mrs. Markowski of Kanoon Elementary showed her summer school class 'Lady Dead.' The assignment was a reflection on stereotyping. Mrs. Markowski said that the kids really enjoyed the story and most importantly learned a valuable lesson about stereotyping. One student commented: "I really like this film because it talks about stereotypes..." Another student said: "I liked how she was brave" and "it was interesting and entertaining..."

Festival Update
Lady Dead wasn't accepted into the Cannes Film Fest. :( It's disappointing, however it is THE most prestigious film festival in the world. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. This morning I submitted L.D. to the First Glance Film Fest in Philadelphia. A smaller but highly reguarded festival in the industry. MovieMaker Magazine declared it one of the top 10 festivals worth the entry fee. Gotta keep movin' forward.

Post Production Update
Sound design, music composition and editing is complete and ready for the Cannes Film Festival. Thank you Brandon and Casey for all of your hard work! The next major task is to add French subtitles. Luckily, Karina Tulley has graciously translated Lady Dead for us. We couldn't do this without you, Karina! Thank you.
